Hello lovelies! Today I have a lovely palette to share with you and review. I also have swatches, so keep reading if you’re interested!

The Stila ‘In The Light’ Palette is kind of the lower price high-end answer to a Naked Palette. This is what Stila has to say:

‘The In The Light palette is a beautiful collection of 10 of Stila’s award-winning eye shadows in wearable, neutral shades for every skintone that can be worn wet or dry.

The palette also includes an exclusive Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Damsel, a matte chocolate brown, and a 6-page lookbook with detailed how-to tips and tricks.

Does it live up to its claims?

I’d say yes. These shades are buttery soft, silky and easy to apply and blend. The colours are also very usable, and would look nice on a range of skintones.

What’s the quality like?
The quality is similar to Stila’s singles and the other palettes they offer, but for anyone who is unfamiliar with the formula, the mattes are sometimes a little lacklustre in comparison to the shimmers, which pack some serious punch. The eyeline in a nice little bonus, and it does last for a long time, but is nothing special. The real gem of this palette is the shimmers. A little goes a long way, they last ALL day even without a primer and they are shades that every neutral-loving girl will die for. Even the two lighter matte shades, bare and bliss are impressive.

Is the packaging good?

It definitely depends on what you like your palettes to look like. The palette is a taupe colour, and is made from durable cardboard. It’s travel friendly and has a mirror in the lid, which snaps gently together with the other part as you close the palette. It is also light. It’s definitely not a Benefit product, and it doesn’t have the grandeur of the Naked Palette packaging, but it is sleek and user-friendly.

What are your favourite things about it?

My most-used colours are bare, kitten, sandstone and bubbly and I love the mirror feature.

Is it worth it?
In my opinion, it is. Stila eyeshadow is my favourite formula from any brand, be it high-end or drugstore. The price isn’t bad for what you get, and you can create hundreds of looks when carrying this around. I also love that it has a mirror and that it’s travel friendly. On the go make-up is something that I am currently attempting to master!

A bit of a humbling message on a little fun materialism. 🙂

The Stila ‘In The…’ Palettes are available from Boots and ASOS in the UK and retail for £25.

I hope you are all okay. I’ve just moved into a new house, so all my stuff is kind of everywhere, and it’s chaos as I go back to work tomorrow too! A busy life is never boring though!
Have a great rest of your weekend!
